About Roddy
My background is in filmmaking, and I spent over a decade shooting and directing commercials that garnered millions of views and videos for some of the world’s largest tech companies. In the process I co-founded a creative agency and am now broadening my artistic practice to include more still photography work, and other types of visual arts like painting and ceramics. I don’t believe in boxing ourselves in creatively.

My lessons will help give you a foundational knowledge of photography and other visual arts based on my 15 years of experience, shooting projects both for myself and professionally for major clients. We can move at whatever pace feels comfortable to you and I will bring instruction and encouraging energy to our sessions. I encourage students to develop their own artistic practice and can help you shape the direction that takes.
