With a warm welcome, you will soon free your creativity, have fun, get the best grades possible with encouraging, inspiring, very experienced, fully qualified Art and Photography Teacher in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
I give lessons to anyone who is starting or already knows the basics and want to take their craft further by structuring the lessons based on what the student wants to do and where he is starting from. All of that in a safe and relaxed atmosphere or in a challenging goal-based perspective if the student feels like it.
I have experienced failure throughout my academic experience. Without one-to-ones with mentors and teachers I would not have been able to achieve my successes. I therefore reflect this methodology through my own teaching. I have found that teaching individuals and/or small groups through holistic approaches aids the subject at hand.
I use a casual inquiry led process which is based upon meeting your needs, business or otherwise. I also provide well informed and in-depth knowledge on the rationale and process required to meet specific photography goals. My teaching method is to teach the basics and to explore the capabilities of your camera and then to show you how to work towards getting your photography right for you.
My teaching methods are hands on. I lay out the the technical side of photography through the use of hands on practical lessons. I have many years experience training assistants in studio and location photography who have gone on to become professional photographers.
Hands on, practical learning. It's the only way when it comes to being creative. You'll learn all the different settings and how to shoot in manual for all types of occasions.
Training on the field away from boring classroom lessons, taking pictures together. You can check my portfolio at instagram @serdalguzel Free first lesson and photographic career consultancy. You can also learn about digital marketing, videography, social media, presentation design...
My teaching style varies - because art varies! Per lesson it's great to set each session as a practical and a theory based. This is a common mistake with photography, theory is key to your development and understanding of art.
Learning by doing! I teach my students how to draw with food on the plate and chasing the light to finding the moment to create the best delicious food image.
I use a multitude of teaching methods. Each session is tailored to the learners requirements, be it a one to one or group session. Photography requires a experiential learning approach. Learners are introduced to the relevant skills and then apply the gained knowledge through practice, evaluation and development.
I love to show people how they can improve their skills through experience. I want them to be confident with themselves and their equipment. That's why I teach on the street, so they can practice with my assistance and learn how to do their best to capture time and places.
My method is to get to know the individual out in the real world in different photographic scenarios, such as Portraits (working with a model) busy city environments (trying to find the perfect composition) Street photography (asking strangers to have their picture taken) and really just learning to love photography.
I heavily believe that practical exercises are the only way to teach photography, it's one thing for me to show you over Skype, but another to do set it up yourself and do it with me. That way you can see what I'm doing for yourself and why I'm doing it. I teach beginners and professionals alike.
I'll teach anyone who wants to learn, no matter your age, experience, current situation etc. My teaching would be tailored around you and exactly what you want to learn, I'll do this through simplified instructions, mixed in with physically showing and guiding you through a process.
I'm flexibly in my approach and can tailor sessions to an individual's needs. I'm happy to support learning such as A-Level students and can help develop an out of class learning schedule There are basic modules that we can work with such as the technical basics or basic composition etc.
My teaching methods include gathering information from students and building a comprehensive study-plan based around what your requirements are. Not only will you learn about your chosen specifics, you will learn how they relate to other areas in the creative industries (including video production if desired).
My teaching method is to focus on the basic and essential things and not overwhelm the student with complicated definitions or mathematical formulas. In my years of experience, I have seen many professional photographers know all the technical details and misunderstand some simple essential concepts of lighting and composition.
Patient and hands off. I will give you the freedom to try and not get caught up on technical details unless you need clarification. It's easy if you don't mind how it comes out.
I will be giving lessons to those that are still in school (GCSE), College (BTEC, A-Level) & people wanting to take it up as a hobby. I find short sentences, notes & colour is teaching method, as well as voice recordings.
I have been working with photographers of all abilities and I have developed a teaching programme that encourages creativity. It's not about what camera or lens you use, it's about developing your vision, the way you see the world and the way you translate that vision into fantastic photographs. I like to work one to one or in a group, I also do distance tutoring via Skype or email.
The main focus of my teaching is to provide students with the knowledge and confidence to be able to use their cameras in a way that elevates their photographs from snapshots to pictures they'd be proud to put on their walls. Topics covered can include basic camera controls and more advanced aspects of camera use. In addition, I can provide tuition in using software such as Photoshop and Lightroom.
I will teach the basics and then set tasks. Ideally the person will have a camera or at least a smart phone. If the person has a laptop and computer with editing software then I can guide the person through the whole process of making a short film.
I can teach from entry level for students that have never held a camera, up to Level 3, the equivalent of A Level or Foundation Diploma. I often work with a social teaching style, letting the students lead the direction of the class whilst acting as a facilitator for the needs of the individuals in the groups.
My teaching method is mainly practical in order to be able to improve photography skills as much as possible. However, I am flexible to benefit students as much as possible. I also like to give as much feedback as possible whilst engaging people in their interests within the subject.
I am a very friendly, open, empathetic and patient individual, who knows exactly what the current educational pressure can feel like, and so I personally aim to teach in such a way that calms, prepares and motivates you to produce the best quality work as possible! My teaching method is to always encourage you to express yourself and your passions within your work.
Teaching photography is best done in a practical way the only way to learn photography is with a camera in your hand. When I teach students I put the emphasis on them to learn and experiment with the equipment, to discover what they love and what drives there passion.
I am warm, friendly and have a huge passion for film and photography, I tailor my tutoring to focus on an individuals development, what they want to learn and how they would like to progress.
Lessons from beginner to expert tailor-made to suit your abilities and interests I focus on practical teaching with lots of exercises as I believe we learn best by doing, and learning from our mistakes.
I am a highly motivated and conscientious individual with an exceptionally strong work ethic. My students are not only able but encouraged to contact me outside of their lesson hours as I give everything I can to each of my students. Every single lesson is bespoke to the student (or group of students) that I am teaching.
