I am offering Wedding Videography and Photography (I am not teaching this). (concealed information) I also offer general photography and filming - (concealed information) Photographer and Videographer with 15 years professional experience -filmed and photographed many, many weddings. Professional Female Photographer and Videographer (Natasha).
My teaching style varies - because art varies! Per lesson it's great to set each session as a practical and a theory based. This is a common mistake with photography, theory is key to your development and understanding of art.
I take a practical approach, with an emphasis on professionalism and commercially viable production. I specialise in music videos, lyric videos, and events. In our first lesson we'll establish your interests and career goals, using that to adapt which types of video we study.
I adapt and change all sessions in relation to the students needs. I will always motivate my students to the best of their abilities and want them to achieve their best possible outcomes.
I use a multitude of teaching methods. Each session is tailored to the learners requirements, be it a one to one or group session. Photography requires a experiential learning approach. Learners are introduced to the relevant skills and then apply the gained knowledge through practice, evaluation and development.
I graduated with a Distinction from the MA Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales in 2016. I give lessons to photography students or anyone wishing to learn about storytelling through photography. I give examples of work by other photographers to illustrate a range of visual styles and project approaches.
My method is to get to know the individual out in the real world in different photographic scenarios, such as Portraits (working with a model) busy city environments (trying to find the perfect composition) Street photography (asking strangers to have their picture taken) and really just learning to love photography.
I heavily believe that practical exercises are the only way to teach photography, it's one thing for me to show you over Skype, but another to do set it up yourself and do it with me. That way you can see what I'm doing for yourself and why I'm doing it. I teach beginners and professionals alike.
I'll teach anyone who wants to learn, no matter your age, experience, current situation etc. My teaching would be tailored around you and exactly what you want to learn, I'll do this through simplified instructions, mixed in with physically showing and guiding you through a process.
I teach practical photography both film and digital. I do this via demonstrations and setting tasks. Photography taught on a trial and error system, the more you do, the better you become. I will critically analyse students work and prepare the students to examine their work critically. I teach the basics of composition and the manual techniques the camera allows.
The main focus of my teaching is to provide students with the knowledge and confidence to be able to use their cameras in a way that elevates their photographs from snapshots to pictures they'd be proud to put on their walls. Topics covered can include basic camera controls and more advanced aspects of camera use. In addition, I can provide tuition in using software such as Photoshop and Lightroom.
From working in a college, there are so many ways to teach a subject. The way I prefer to teach is to have hands on tasks and let you experiment, making mistakes and then I can demonstrate ways to work around these. I also like to have visual handouts for you to work alongside with.
I will teach the basics and then set tasks. Ideally the person will have a camera or at least a smart phone. If the person has a laptop and computer with editing software then I can guide the person through the whole process of making a short film.
I can teach from entry level for students that have never held a camera, up to Level 3, the equivalent of A Level or Foundation Diploma. I often work with a social teaching style, letting the students lead the direction of the class whilst acting as a facilitator for the needs of the individuals in the groups.
As I am currently studying at university, I provide my lessons mainly online - via which platform you choose (Skype, Facebook etc..), unless the student wants specifically face to face lessons. In terms of content, the lessons are based purely around the students and what he/she wants to learn about.
I base my classes off each different student, what they all ready know, what they struggle with and what I think would benefit them learning in the long run. As a student myself I know what works best when trying to learn something new, I have patience and a happy disposition.
My teaching method is mainly practical in order to be able to improve photography skills as much as possible. However, I am flexible to benefit students as much as possible. I also like to give as much feedback as possible whilst engaging people in their interests within the subject.
I am a very friendly, open, empathetic and patient individual, who knows exactly what the current educational pressure can feel like, and so I personally aim to teach in such a way that calms, prepares and motivates you to produce the best quality work as possible! My teaching method is to always encourage you to express yourself and your passions within your work.
Teaching photography is best done in a practical way the only way to learn photography is with a camera in your hand. When I teach students I put the emphasis on them to learn and experiment with the equipment, to discover what they love and what drives there passion.
I am warm, friendly and have a huge passion for film and photography, I tailor my tutoring to focus on an individuals development, what they want to learn and how they would like to progress.
Hey, Im Seb, 18 years old, Ill help however I can, including doing research out of hours. I have a great genuine interest for Art, Photography, Economics, History and Geography and these sessions would most likely enjoy the sessions as much as i hope my clients will.
Lessons from beginner to expert tailor-made to suit your abilities and interests I focus on practical teaching with lots of exercises as I believe we learn best by doing, and learning from our mistakes.
I manly specialise in university preparation and A-level student help. At a pre-university level it is best to let the student explore lots of different options until they can settle on the approach that works best for them. Once they have discovered their style, that is what you base their professional portfolio around.
I base my tutorials on how I have been taught. Face to Face. With lots of practice. I am a parent with a love for my family and how the world is seen through the power of the lens.
I will teach you what the settings on your camera are for, what they do, and how to use them to your advantage, by going through them a stage at a time until you are confident in using them to achieve fantastic results.
The initial idea is to start teaching the very basics of photography... A bit of theory but absolutely needed to better understand how a camera is working and how to use it at its best. To make it more enjoyable, there will be no classroom and lessons will be given on the field while practicing with the camera in your hands.
Photography may seem easy. It's just aiming a camera and pressing a button right? Wrong. To get that award-winning photo you must consider multiple aspects, such as the lighting, composition, focus of the photo, and many others.
My teaching method is tailored for the student, exploring themes, styles and techniques that the student wishes to learn. The sessions will begin with the basics of photography: the founders and revolutionaries of the art form, how a camera works (e.g shutter speed, aperture, ISO etc).
I like to work around the person I'm teaching. I personally find explaining things in a visual way the method to go. Whether thats drawing mind maps to having demonstrations and discussions. Every way is a good methodology to explain.
