About Rhys
I am a postgraduate historian studying Medieval History, I have a wide interest across History having studied from Augustan Rome to 19th-20th Century Russia. My undergraduate degree was undertaken at the University of Oxford, it was here that my love of history flourished and I decided to pursue academics. I am excited to teach full time in the future at the University level but I am passionate about teaching at all levels.

Flexible lessons that work for you, able to give writing advice and essay feedback, lessons to consolidate information from the curriculum as well as supercurricular lessons and advice. These lessons can be tailored for all students from GCSE to A-Level age. Lesson length can be flexible but would usually take between 45 minutes to an hour. In a typical lesson, we would take a brief overview of the subject matter of the lesson, likely a topic that the student is struggling with, this overview would allow me to hone in on the main difficulties that are being faced. From here we would work through this topic together and understand the key details and more nuanced issues that the topic presents. In addition to these general lessons, written work could be provided at a prior date, this work would then be assessed by me and within the lesson, I could provide feedback and writing activities to inspire better writing and problem solving.
