About Olivia
Every student learns differently, which is why I tailor each lesson to individual goals, interests, and experience levels. As a practicing professional artist, I combine technical instruction with hands-on guidance to help students develop both strong foundational skills and confidence in their creative abilities. My experience leading workshops, mentoring youth, and creating commissioned artwork has taught me how to communicate clearly, encourage curiosity, and make challenging concepts approachable. Whether preparing a portfolio, exploring a new medium, or creating for personal enjoyment, students can expect organized, engaging lessons in a supportive and encouraging environment.

I believe that everyone is creative, and my goal as an art tutor is to help students discover confidence in their own unique voice. I create a supportive, encouraging environment where curiosity is valued over perfection and mistakes become opportunities for growth. Drawing from my experience as a professional textile artist, educator, and community arts leader, I tailor each lesson to the student's interests, abilities, and goals. Whether learning a new technique, building foundational skills, or simply creating for the joy of it, I strive to make art approachable, meaningful, and fun while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of making.
