About Daniel
I’m a student teacher. Most of my family are teachers so it’s in the blood! When I was at school I got A* in History at both GCSE and A level, but I also know it can be a difficult subject and I’m very glad I had excellent history teachers myself to help me. I also have many years' experience coaching cricket, so I’m well used to helping young people improve their skills, but I also know how important it is to make learning fun!

I believe that tutoring works best when the student wants to learn, and feels like they are making steady improvement. Lessons are adaptable to your needs. We can focus on improving your essay writing, or your understanding of a particular topic, or work through a project you are working on. In the first lesson we will talk through what you are looking to get out of our sessions so I can plan ahead how we can best move forward. I am willing to work with students at any level, from Key stage 2 (year 7 at school and up) to undergraduates taking a history related degree or indeed someone later in life who just wants to learn some history and have a fun session talking about History with someone who knows their stuff!
