About Avery
I am an active listener, responsible and easy-going. I have been tutoring online for 2 years, paid and volunteering. I have graduated from high school recently, so I am still familiar with the syllabus. I am fluent in English and have been studying in international schools. The lessons can be conducted mainly in English. I enjoy singing and the arts, so I also encourage students to learn from songs, making the lessons more entertaining.

Sessions with me are flexible. My sessions are mainly student-oriented; you get to decide what you want to work with and how you want me to help you. Usually, students give me a topic on what they want to do, and I prepare PowerPoint slides and games based on their studying goals. I am a visual learner, so I will include a lot of visuals to make it easier for you to understand. The key is to communicate with me so I know how I can help you to improve your Chinese.
I can teach students from all ages and can teach from absolute beginner to upper intermediate level. I am also experienced in HSK 1-6, IB Chinese B and IGCSE Chinese as a Second or foreign language.
