About Alexis
I am a patient and supportive person who enjoys helping others understand math. Algebra can be confusing for many students, and I like breaking problems down step-by-step so they become easier to understand. I believe everyone can learn math with the right explanation and encouragement.
I take the time to listen to what a student is struggling with and explain it in different ways until it makes sense. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them actually understand the process so they feel more confident solving problems on their own.

I would be good for an algebra tutor because I’m patient and I understand that people learn at different speeds. I like helping others understand problems step-by-step instead of just giving them the answer. I’m also good at breaking algebra problems down into smaller, easier parts so they make more sense
