About Erica
I am a Pediatric Home Health nurse, RN, with a background in tutoring as well as teaching. I love working with children and helping them with their various needs. I have experience in tutoring and teaching children with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia as well as low self-esteem. I believe children don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Each child is special and intelligent, and capable of greatness.

I am patient, and structure my lesson plans around the child's needs. My lesson plans focus on the subject being taught starting with introducing the subject and giving an example of the material, then having the child answer a few related questions about what was just introduced, then get into the lesson with a review of what was covered at the end. I style my teaching based on their learning style, and try to make things fun and interesting!
