About Ava
Hello! My name is Ava Salehi Esfahani, and I’ve been teaching English since 2021. I have experience teaching students of all ages, and I hold both an IELTS certification and a Teaching Training Certificate (TTC). I also have a master’s degree from the UK, as well as a background in psychology and theatre directing. I love teaching because it allows me to connect with students and help them reach their full potential. My background in psychology helps me understand your learning needs, plan effective study strategies, and solve challenges that might come up along the way. My theatre experience lets me make lessons creative, fun, and engaging so that learning English becomes exciting, not just a task. I’m here to support you, inspire confidence, and make learning English a rewarding experience for every student!

I have been teaching English since 2021 across several institutes, gaining extensive experience working with students of diverse ages and backgrounds. I hold both an IELTS certification and a Teaching Training Certificate (TTC), which have strengthened my teaching methodology and classroom management skills. My academic background includes a master’s degree in the UK, where I further developed my understanding of educational and psychological principles. Drawing on my psychology knowledge, I am able to apply key skills such as problem-solving, organising individualised study schedules, and responding effectively to students’ needs in various learning contexts. Additionally, my bachelor’s degree in theatre directing has allowed me to infuse creativity into my lessons, making them more engaging, dynamic, and tailored to students’ interests.
