About Matt
Over the past 5 years I have delved into some of the most complex topics in modern European history, from the domino-effect of World War I breaking out in 1914 to the ethno-nationalist genocide in the Balkans throughout the 1990s. Throughout all of this, I have prided myself in being able to convey the pertinent information regarding these events in a way that provides extensive coverage and comprehensive understanding. No matter your current level of understanding, I can assure you that our lessons will always bring you closer to mastery of whatever subject we are covering.

I am to teach students and aspiring historians how to understand the cause and effect of significant historical events, omitting the memorization of unnecessary information. Rather than bogging our lessons down with dates and numbers, which are largely insignificant to the topics we will be discussing, I will ensure that our time is better spent analyzing the events leading up to and following important historical events as well as the men and women who spurred on those events.
