About Evelyn
I'm a passionate violin and piano teacher from Hong Kong, holding a Master's in Musicology from the University of Manchester and a BA in Music (Violin Performance) from Newcastle University, UK. With performance experience in various ensembles, from symphony to Baroque orchestras, I love helping students not just play, but understand and connect with the music.
My Teaching Approach:
1. Tailored Lessons: I customize materials and methods to suit each student's personality, strengths, and goals.
2. Music in Context: I incorporate musicology to teach the story and background behind the music, leading to more expressive performances.
3, Build Confidence: My goal is to nurture a genuine love for music and performance, building confidence and motivation.
