About Shannon
I have taken some classes in teaching younger kids, but I have always wanted to help kids learn to read and spell since I was young. I myself had to get tutoring for reading and spelling when I was younger, and it helped me so much when it came to high school. I am very passionate about helping kids and getting to learn their struggles.

I love working with kids and also understand how reading and spelling can be difficult.
Lesson plans consist of students reading out loud while I follow along to correct any errors. I will also have the student recap what we just read to ensure they understand what they have just read.
I would also give the student words I want them to spell out loud, and then I would show them what it looks like written down on paper.
I am specifically looking for elementary-aged kids or kids who have difficulty reading, so I can help them like I had tutors help me before.
