About Jorge
Through our time together we will begin slow and establish essential concepts that will build up over time to form more complex pieces but don't feel discouraged. It's because of us starting from simple steps that we will build a foundation through practice and fun, whether you're wanting to just learn more about how to paint or want to put in more practice onto your already existing experience, I will be dedicated to your success and growth. I am formally trained and graduated from Texas Southmost College and am currently also pursuing work as a professor. I have previously helped in teaching classes while attending school and have also been a part of established art galleries and group critiques. I am very well versed in the history and techniques of what we will be pursuing in this class and my overall goal is to make sure your goals are met.

Have you ever wanted to paint a portrait of someone or paint from life?
I will show you a fun and easy way to learn concepts of design and drawing that will lead you to achieve great oil paintings like the old masters of the Renaissance. I am classically trained by professors who studied at the New York Academy of Fine Art. You will learn how to see forms, break down and simplify complex things and use timeless techniques to convey what you see with your eyes and even add your own conceptual twists.
