About Ivan
Ivan Corbino, born in 1993, is a guitarist and composer from Scordia (in the province of Catania), born into a family of musicians. He began studying music and guitar at the age of six under the guidance of his father Aurelio Corbino. Initially he approaches music only for fun, but soon the study of the instrument turns into a real passion. Start following courses and Masterclasses with guitarists such as: Dodi Battaglia, Ciro Manna, Mike Stern and others. In 2015 he enrolled in the three-year degree course in Jazz Guitar at the "V. Bellini" conservatory in Catania, where he graduated in 2018 with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. In 2019 he enrolled in the Master's Degree course in Jazz Guitar at the "V. Bellini" conservatory in Catania, where he graduated in 2021 with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. He studied with Claudio Cusmano, Lucio Terzano, Orazio Maugeri, Dino Rubino, Roberto Martinelli.

My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to creativity, discovery and knowledge of tradition. My teaching focuses a lot on the development of the ear and musical thought.
The duration of each lesson is 60 minutes
The program is established together with the student on the basis of the difficulties and objectives to be overcome. Support material will be provided (Transcripts or examples in pdf format and backing tracks in Mp3 to have fun playing as if there were a real band)
