About Daniel
I entered the ESMUC (Catalan Higher Music School) with a focus on Classical and Contemporary Music, but halfway through my studies, I decided it wasn't enough, so I ended up studying Jazz and Modern Music at the same school. I've worked for years in private schools, with students of all ages. I know how to put myself in my students' shoes and offer them what they need, making classes dynamic, entertaining, and non-monotonous.

My years of experience as a performer and teacher in Classical Music, Jazz, and Modern Music, supported by excellent results using a methodology I've developed, are the best way to offer classes. I accept students with diverse profiles, from beginners to advanced, of all ages. I have taught students from 6 years old to 70 years old. Classes will be structured according to the needs and expectations of each student, and a specific plan will be designed to achieve the objectives. In my classes, we will work on: * Technique: scales, intervals, articulations, effects, long notes, etc. * Repertoire: adapted to your favorite style(s). * Music theory/harmony: from note reading to American chord symbols for playing Jazz. * Sight-reading: techniques for tackling difficult passages. * Aural training: intervals, chords, harmonic sequences, etc. * Improvisation: foundations of various styles, blues, jazz standards, etc. * Memory: techniques for memorizing and not dying in the attempt. In the studio, I have recording equipment (camera, lights, computer, sound card, professional microphone, etc.) with which we can make high-quality videos. I think it's a shame there's no record of the work done, so you'll have the opportunity to practice recording, which is very important for working on aspects such as sound control and tuning, managing tension and nerves, memorizing music, body language, concentration, and so on. Daniel es un profesor muy versátil y creativo con el que poder aprender a tocar jazz y empezar a improvisar, así como perfeccionar la técnica básica del saxo y guiarte en la vertiente clásica del instrumento. Me encanta que se prepare las clases de forma muy personal, el rato se me pasa volando.
