About Liam
There has never been a more exciting time to study politics! But...let’s be real—Politics can be a minefield of confusing jargon, endless theories, and the occasional shouting match in Parliament. But that’s where I come in! I Will: Make Politics Make Sense – No more staring at your notes wondering if Hobbes was a pessimist or if Marx had a point. I will break things down so you actually get them. Applying Politics to the Everyday – I won’t just throw theories at you—I’ll show you how they apply to real life. Get The Grades – Politics essays are all about structure, argument, and evidence. I’ll show you how to write like a pro, impress examiners, and avoid waffling (unlike some politicians we know). Interactive and Fun – Debates, discussions, and the occasional meme—because who says learning about democracy can’t be entertaining? I have Been Through It Too – I did A-Level Politics and did my degree in Law, so I know exactly what examiners look for and how to master essay writing. So, if you want to stop feeling lost in political theory and start smashing your grades, I’m your tutor. Let’s do this! :)

It is important to remember that we all learn differently! That said, here are the foundations I work from: I aim to create an interactive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s needs, using real-world examples and case studies to make Politics as relatable and interesting as possible. It is really important to develop critical thinking skills, as well as helping students analyse arguments and improve essay structure, exam techniques, and communication skills. Lessons typically last 60 minutes but can be adjusted based on the student’s preferences and focus levels. I studied A-Level Politics and did a degree in Law, equipping me with strong analytical and teaching skills. I have experience mentoring peers and younger students in essay writing, exam prep, and debate. I want all my students to achieve their potential :)
