About Maridian
I’m a student at the University of Oklahoma. I love animals. I have a passion for teaching, specifically mathematics. I have enjoyed the subject and I feel like it’s a puzzle waiting to be solved. My grandpa was also a math teacher. My mom is currently a kindergarten teacher. I try to have good relationships with all of my students. I want everyone to feel safe and respected.

I like to make it fun and be creative. I like to add colors and fun analogies. I want math to seem fun so that learning it is easier. I encourage students that being wrong is okay. It takes times and they’re still learning. Just because I know how to do it doesn’t mean they should automatically know. We’re both learning as we go so I don’t expect perfection I just expect them to show effort.
