About César
I am a professional jazz musician / guitarist whose performance focuses on jazz genres: bebop, swing, hardbop, postbop, and contemporary. I started playing guitar when I was 6 years old and around 16 I started studying jazz, when I entered the De la Salle Music Diploma while I was in high school in Cuernavaca. Then I moved to Xalapa where I graduated with honors from the Jazz Studies Bachelor from the Centro de Estudios Jazz de la Universidad Veracruzana (JazzUV). During these years I have performed in different cities of the country such as: Puebla, Cuernavaca, Veracruz, Xalapa, Coatepec, Morelia, Guadalajara and Tijuana. I was also part of the Jazztival of Morelia Michoacán in the 2017 and 2019 editions as a performer and seminarian.

My classes are personalized, focused on adolescents and adults from basic to intermediate-advanced levels, I like to be more a guide for the construction of the student's knowledge and have a cooperative motivational environment. The class can change depending on the knowledge that the student already has about the instrument and the way in which he learns. Starting from this, the student will obtain new knowledge and will realize what it was that served him the most and be able to accommodate it to his needs.
