About Wendy
I am a Master student recently graduated from University of Alberta. Experience in presenting a talk, communicating with supervisors and lab mates as well as summarizing what I've learned are soft power I gained during my studies. Working as a teaching assistant helps me understand how to build a communication between me and students, and help them solve problems they encounter.

Working as a private English tutor previously, the student I taught was a high school student who was preparing college entrance examination. Based on my experience, I tutor him in four parts: grammar, listening, vocabulary and writing. Grammar contains clause, tense and voice. Listening includes playing record and asking him to repeat what it said. Vocabulary requires him to learn new words and its usage. Writing requires him to write an article with known title and help him to improve the structure and sentence.
