About April Mae
I bring both solid academic training and real-world teaching experience to every lesson as a licensed educator with a Bachelor of Secondary Education and a second diploma in Early Childhood Education. Working with a variety of students over the last four years, including teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to international students, has improved my patience, cultural awareness, and teaching flexibility. I take a professional but student-centered approach, carefully crafting lessons to fit the objectives and learning preferences of each individual student.
