I graduated with honours in Education Studies from Staffordshire University in 2010 and since then have obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in the Lifelong Learning sector (2013). I currently work part-time in a further education college teaching Key Skills English, Maths and ICT. Alongside the CACHE Diploma in Childcare/ Early Years Education at levels one to four.
Throughout my career, I have worked in primary, secondary and further education settings and have a career in teaching spanning over twenty years. I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher/trainer.
My additional academic qualifications include A BTEC National Diploma in Caring Services (Early Years) A-levels in both Maths and English, alongside G.C.S.E's in the core subjects of English, Maths and Science. I am able to offer outstanding support in English Literature, English Language, ICT, Childcare, Child Health Education, Health and Social Care, Teaching in Early Years Settings and Education Studies. More recently, I have written a full programme of study in Health and Social Care which won an award in Education from Staffordshire County Council. I am friendly and patient, and have excellent written and verbal communication Skills. I understand the key concepts of teaching and learning which means I am able to differentiate content to suit the individual learner.
