My teaching approach is student-centered, where I encourage learners to actively participate, ask questions, and develop their own understanding of scientific concepts. I use the Socratic method by asking guiding questions that encourage students to think critically, explain their reasoning, and connect lessons to real-life situations.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of prior knowledge, followed by an introduction to the topic, guided questioning and discussion, and practice activities. I then assess the student’s understanding through questions, short exercises, or application tasks and provide feedback based on their needs.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on making science understandable and engaging while helping students develop critical-thinking skills rather than simply memorizing information.
My lessons are intended for middle school to high school students who need support in Biology and other general Science topics.
