As a college student pursuing a degree in Health Sciences, I have a strong academic background and real-life experience tutoring students at various levels. Hi, I’m Maycee, and I know firsthand how challenging school can feel sometimes — but I also know how great it feels when it finally clicks! That’s why my tutoring approach focuses on patience, building confidence, and breaking down problems in a way that makes sense to you.
I like to start each lesson by asking what you’re working on in class and what feels confusing or frustrating. From there, we’ll work through practice problems/assignments together, and I’ll give you tips on how to approach similar problems on your own. I believe in teaching strategies, not just answers, so you’ll leave each session with tools you can really use — whether that’s step-by-step breakdowns, visual aids, or real-life examples to make whichever subject you need, feel more relevant.
What sets me apart is that I remember what it’s like to sit on the other side of the desk, feeling unsure. I’m here to create a judgment-free space where questions are always welcome. I want to help you not only solve problems but also feel confident going into your next class or test.
My lessons are perfect for all K-12 students — whether you’re trying to pass a tough math or science class, prepare for a big test, or just feel more comfortable with a class overall. I’m currently a college student studying Health Sciences, and I love helping others succeed, especially in subjects that don’t always come easy.
