Welcome! I'm excited to help you on your learning journey. With a strong background in both mathematics and music, I bring a unique perspective to my tutoring sessions. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where you can feel comfortable exploring new concepts and honing your skills.
I am currently attending university for my doctorate in forensic psychology. I have a bit of experience with tutoring, as I did it from grades 10-12 in high school, specifically for people who were struggling with understanding their material. My approach combines personalized instruction with proven techniques to ensure that you not only understand the material but also enjoy the learning process. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
Whether you're tackling Pre-Calculus or learning to play the guitar, my lessons are designed to build your confidence and help you achieve your goals. Let's work together to unlock your full potential!

I like to focus on individual learning. As a student myself, I know how important it is to focus on each individual’s strengths and weaknesses. I use problem solving in my lessons to help my students get a better understanding.
Typical Lesson Plan:
- For Math (e.g., Pre-Calculus, Algebra):
- Introduction (5 minutes): Brief overview of the topic and its relevance.
- Instruction (20 minutes): Explain concepts using examples and visual aids.
- Practice (20 minutes): Guided practice with problems, allowing for individual assistance.
- Review and Homework Assignment (10 minutes): Summarize key points and assign practice problems for reinforcement.
- For Guitar:
- Warm-Up (5 minutes): Finger exercises to improve dexterity.
- New Material (20 minutes): Introduce a new song or technique, breaking it down into manageable parts.
- Practice (20 minutes): Play together, focusing on timing and technique.
- Wrap-Up (10 minutes): Review what was learned and set goals for the next lesson.
I bring a unique perspective to my teaching. I am NOT about memorization, but rather I would like my students to actually learn and comprehend the material. My lessons are designed for students in grades 6-12, specifically those studying Pre-Calculus, Algebra, and beginner to intermediate guitar players.
