About Shahin
Hi! My name is Shahin, and I am Bengali/Scottish. I have an M.Sc. in ecology and evolution and I'm TEFL certified. I have always been a curious person and I love spending time in nature, which has nourished my passion for science. The past few years I have lived between Bangladesh and Canada. My hobbies include gardening and playing sports. I have been a tutor for the past 7 years.

For science, I have a variety of books and websites that I use. I also help my students from East Asian background to improve their English skills while also covering science topics. I've gained this experience from teaching students from Korea, Japan and China. I can teach students from elementary, secondary and university level. We sometimes read articles and discuss them together. For more advanced students, we use the textbook or whatever materials the student is using in their class.
