About Charotay
Progress happens faster when you stop trying to sound perfect. Most people waste energy by tensing their throat during high notes.
Because I have 13 years of experience, I know exactly when to push you and when to rest your cords. My degree from Concordia University informs how I teach range extension and microphone technique. Every session ends with specific homework vocal drills assigned to solidify your progress. I promise to keep our sessions grounded in the reality of your current vocal development.

Diction and articulation form the backbone of a memorable performance. My voice is my primary instrument. 11 years gigging the Montreal folk scene proved that breathing control matters more than raw power.
I combine my BM Guitar background with vocal training to help students find their natural resonance. Working professionals and adults often come to me to overcome stage fear. I enjoy the process of stripping away tension until the true sound remains.
