About Tom
Hi Everyone! I didn’t start playing guitar until I was 16, less than two years later I became HSC Music Dux. Since then, I’ve played hundreds of live shows across Australia and overseas, and recorded multiple tracks with bands including IV (Four). I’m now studying medicine (which I also tutor). But I'll always have music in my life, whether I'm performing, teaching, or simply playing for the joy of it. My teaching approach is patient and encouraging because I understand what it's like to start from scratch and work your way up across all genres. I hope to share the same benefits music has given me with you, whether that's the thrill of playing your first song, the confidence of performing, or simply the lifelong enjoyment of making music.

Perfect! Tom was very explicit with his lessons and very patient, he has an extensive knowledge and understanding of basic skills beginners need.
- Susan came in enthusiastic, open to learning, and picked things up quickly. We focused on fundamentals like posture, basic technique, and getting comfortable with the instrument, Susan showed good coordination and focus throughout.
