About Jean
Growing up in a house filled with the sounds of bolero and flamenco, the guitar became my primary language before I could even read music. This early immersion led me to obtain a BMus Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura in Argentina.
During my 8 years of experience, I have worked with 432 students to refine their strumming patterns and electric technique. I treat music as a cultural package where rhythm and soul carry equal weight.
My background combines formal theory with the raw emotion found in chacarera traditions. I guide students through barre chords and complex blues progressions with patience and clarity.
My focus remains on helping you understand the mechanics behind the fretboard. Whether you are prepping for grade exams or simply want to master fingerpicking, I am here to help. You will find my approach is grounded in the traditions I grew up with.
