About Lana
I am a passionate guitar teacher with over 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar. I love helping students grow into confident and expressive musicians. My teaching style is engaging structured and focused on real results. I work closely with intermediate to advanced learners who want to take their playing to the next level.
I teach scales modes and advanced techniques in a clear and practical way. I also guide students in songwriting composition and arranging so they can create their own music. Rhythm training is a key part of my lessons to build strong timing and groove. I provide live performance coaching to help students feel confident on stage and in front of an audience.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and inspiring students to explore their creativity. Each lesson is designed to match individual goals and musical interests. I create a supportive environment where students feel motivated and challenged. My aim is to help learners grow into skilled players and future professionals. My teaching approach focuses on building strong guitar skills with clear structure and consistent practice. I guide students from basics to advanced levels using simple and practical methods. I teach ergonomic technique so students play comfortably and avoid strain. Proper posture hand position and movement are practiced in every session.
I cover open chords power chords and smooth chord transitions step by step. Finger dexterity exercises help improve speed control and accuracy. I also include ear training so students can recognize chords melodies and rhythm patterns. Music theory is taught in a simple way including Roman Numeral chord understanding to help students play in any key.
I support learners who enjoy expressive playing styles and those who lead music in group or live settings by helping them build confidence timing and musical feel. Strumming patterns fingerstyle techniques and dynamic control are practiced regularly. I use real songs and practical exercises to make learning engaging and useful. My lessons are interactive supportive and focused on real progress. I adapt my teaching based on each student’s goals and level. My aim is to help every student play with confidence creativity and passion.
