About Charlise
Real confidence on the fretboard comes from understanding the inner mechanics of your instrument. Truthfully, I find that many players overlook the subtle maintenance required for a truly resonant sound.
Our time together utilizes a BMus Popular Music curriculum to break down acoustic technique and complex theory. We build your repertoire through structured practice of fingerpicking patterns and stylistic study. Songwriting is encouraged for those who wish to express themselves through the instrument.
My lessons are designed to be a sanctuary for serious adult students. I look forward to helping you translate your musical ideas into reality on the guitar.

Patient guidance defines my approach to the instrument after 13 years of playing and teaching. I work primarily with working professionals and adults who have moved past the initial beginner stage. My BMus in Popular Music from the Queensland Conservatorium forms the backbone of my technical knowledge.
This path allows me to help you navigate complex acoustic fingerpicking and music theory with clarity. You will find my classroom style friendly and focused on the nuances of Latin guitar. My background includes a Licenciatura from Argentina and extensive time performing in Mexico City.
I value the growth of my intermediate learners as they refine their maintenance skills and prepare for grade exams. Writing songs remains a constant joy in my own life. I hope to share that personal spark with you as we study together.
