About Iris
My passion for guitar began with a strong fascination for rhythm, harmony, and musical storytelling. I completed a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance and have 7 years of teaching experience working with students of different backgrounds and skill levels. Over time, I have developed a balanced teaching method that supports both technical mastery and creative growth.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and individualized learning. I adapt my teaching approach according to each student’s pace and goals. I focus on helping learners understand musical concepts deeply so they can become independent musicians. This helps build long-term confidence and creative freedom.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing guitar, exploring multiple genres, and studying both classical and modern styles. These experiences help me keep lessons practical, engaging, and inspiring. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching students grow into confident musicians who can perform with expression, control, and creativity.

My guitar lessons focus on developing strong technical skills while also encouraging creativity and musical expression. I teach chord progressions, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, scale practice, rhythm training, tone control, improvisation basics, and musical phrasing. Each concept is broken down into clear steps so students can understand and apply it effectively. The learning process is structured to balance discipline with creativity.
Students are guided according to their level and goals. Beginners focus on basic chords, rhythm stability, finger placement, and simple strumming patterns. Intermediate learners develop smoother transitions, fingerstyle fluency, timing accuracy, and expressive playing. Advanced students work on improvisation, solo performance, advanced techniques, and musical interpretation. Students preparing for exams or performances receive structured practice plans with clear milestones. Continuous feedback ensures steady progress.
Learning guitar should feel enjoyable, creative, and motivating. My lessons create a relaxed environment where students can explore music freely while building consistency and discipline. Over time, learners develop their own musical identity and expressive style. My goal is to help students not only play guitar technically well but also understand music deeply and express themselves naturally through sound.
