About Nina
I have 8 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a B.Mus in Guitar Performance and an M.Mus in Contemporary Music. My experience spans beginner to advanced students, helping learners develop solid technical skills, expressive musicality, and confidence on stage or in personal practice. I emphasize a balance of structured learning and creative exploration, ensuring each student feels supported while challenged appropriately.
I integrate technique, repertoire, improvisation, and performance guidance into every lesson. Students are encouraged to experiment, reflect on musical choices, and express their unique voice. Lessons incorporate structured exercises, popular music examples, and creative projects to maintain engagement and steady progress. I prioritize building confidence, fostering enjoyment, and helping learners develop a personal musical identity.
Beyond teaching, I actively perform, study new musical styles, and engage in composition projects. This involvement allows me to bring contemporary, real-world insights into lessons.
