About Simon
My name is Simon Donaldson. I am a guitar & voice teacher based in Stirling. I have been teaching privately for over 20 years. I teach rock, pop, blues, metal, folk and singer songwriter styles.
I started playing guitar when I was 13 years old and have now been playing for over 40 years. I have toured extensively all over Scotland and Europe and lived in Nashville for a year writing and recording country music.
I can help you prepare for school exams, rock school grades, band auditions, auditions for entry to music college, assist with songwriting & composition, recording and live performance techniques.
My personal favourite guitarists are Gary Moore, Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden), Dan Huff (American session player), Joe Satriani and Eric Clapton.
