I am a teacher giving English and German lessons, level A1-B2, common or business field, adults, children. My teaching method is progressive, focusing on real life incl. speaking, listening, writing. My strategies - leadership, collaborating, relating to clients, demonstrating, facilitating.
My teaching method is mostly based on grammar but also spoken french. Mostly separated into different areas in the language each lesson .
I am a friendly and down to earth student who received some of the top grades throughout my education. I am confident that I can help adapt lesson plans to suit any needs and tailor each lesson to what you are aiming to learn. There is not one single way to learn a language and finding the right method that works for you will be my aim.
I base my classes on what the student wants to learn and what they are aiming to achieve. I have spoken English my entire life and being a languages student I understand the difficulties that come with learning a foreign language. I have taught myself tips and tricks to improve in foreign languages which I can share with my students.
I am happy to give lessons to high school students of any year, and first and second year University students. I do not have a set teaching methodology but would rather focus on the differing priorities of each individual student. I bring a patient and stress-free approach to tutoring and want to encourage students' interest and academic ambition as well as practical academic skills.
In my opinion when it comes to learning a language constant communication is extremely important, my classes would consist of majority Spanish speaking with English used to explain more difficult concepts. the sessions would be highly interactive which would rapidly improve the students listening and speaking skills.
I am not a formal person so prefer a relaxed class. I would begin by focusing on areas in which the student is struggling with most because that is obviously what will take up the most time. I will also pay close attention to what the student believes they should focus on.
I like my students to understand what they are doing and why, and I like for them to experience the lesson rather than me just showing everything to them. I make my students practice and learn through activities while having fun to remember better.
I like to work with a whiteboard and different coloured pens so that work can be easily rubbed out and the different colours can be used to help the student understand different parts. I also like to work through test papers and real questions so the student knows what to expect when it comes to exams.
As I have lots of experience in different environments with different children and adults, I am very adaptable to the learners preferred method of learning. For this, I have given lectures along with one-on-one support and have worked with groups.
I tutor undergraduates as well as masters students. I ask for areas where students find difficult and approach each topic with the needed explanation and practical examples to make more understanding to them. I expect students to read around topics to be treated.
I base my classes on the interests and motivations of my pupils - I pay attention to how they best learn (because everyone has different strategies for learning) and I adapt my teaching practice accordingly to give the best and most useful class I can.
I approach each topic with patience and care and find the best way to help the student learn and understand the material. When teaching languages I find it best to do so through games and activities, rather than through grammar exercises and dictionaries.
My teaching method is mainly based on working on homework and approaching each occurring problem directly. Once I see that a problem is deeper rooted I prepare more exercises on it to work out the troublesome topic. I am a very open minded and direct person, therefore I react to the needs of each individual student and adapt and improve my methods constantly.
I have various amounts of teaching methods, but I think that my methods mainly depend on how the student learns quickest but most effective. My methods are very adaptive towards the student that I'm teaching and will try to make the lesson as fun and as educational as possible for the student.
My focus is on getting you up and running with conversational french so you can have the confidence to speak out and start learning by interacting with french native speakers.
My teaching method is flexible to the student - I love interactive learning and I ensure all of the content I teach is relatable and enjoyable. As an teacher and educator, I work within a structured environment to ensure we know where we are on the learning pathway and where we are in relation to our target.
I am a friendly and engaging teacher with 8 months teaching experience at primary and secondary level. Student satisfaction and grade improvement is my top most priority! I make sure to encourage questions and do lots of practice especially in mathematics.
The most important thing about any lesson is for the student to feel that they have learned something new or honed one of their existing skills. I therefore begin by asking the student to tell me something that they find difficult or wish to work on. Then I will find specific examples, based on the identified area, and we can work through problems and questions together.
I am patient and eager to teach people more, allowing them to have a full understanding of the subject or even just more confidence in it. Lessons will be student based and formed around the needs of the student. Personally, I do not believe there can be an approach that fits absolutely every student.
My lesson usually consists of a fun warm up, and then get into drama exercises that would help you to express creatively. For Primary students, storytelling and writing will be something that we could do together. For Secondary students, I will treat you like a professional actor and work on selected scenes and monologues with you. I can tailor made the lesson to suit you.
I am a second year undergraduate studying a Combined Honours degree in Business and Sports Studies at the University of Stirling. I did 4 A Levels in Business, Sports Studies, ICT and General Studies, obtaining grades A*A*AA and I am confident in teaching these subjects up to this level.
I´m a Colombian woman studying a masters degree in Child Development in the University of Stirling. I would like to do lessons to any person young or adult willing to know Spanish language, from basics to an advanced level. My lessons will be creative to keep it interesting. As a teacher I am very patient and didactic. I will love to teach my beautiful native language.
I use a variety of teaching methods, depending on the age and the level of the students. Speaking is definitely the essence of the lessons, as to practice a language is the best way to learn it. In particular, I prefer creative methods (such as songs, articles and poems) that can make the learning of a foreign language easier.
I am an approachable individual and a keen listener. I like to find out how people learn before I begin tutoring them. I then base my teaching, guidance and advice around this and the individuals skill set so they can retain the information I provide.
Repetition is key. Taking the time to make sure the students know their handling of the recorder. Constant playing is a must. Beside classical music I also offer music from the 21st century which makes the lessons more enjoyable as well.
Acting is a passion and important to enjoy. It takes a lot of confidence and I can give a save space for students to experience in roles to earn this confidence. I know how to deal with stage fright or how to get into character and make sure it works.
My teaching method is to start with a basic understanding and move up from there. I will adapt to the pace of my students to make sure everybody gets it and is able to improve. I take the time to repeat knowledge until the student feels confident.
English as a second language: As a tutor you would find me laid back and eager to help, my teaching methodology involves a lot of conversation, we would have chats about various pre-prepared things. I would send you material for reading comprehension that we would go over together.
I use a variety of methods and tailor my lessons to the individual learner.
