About Naomi
Do you ever find yourself struggling to learn a specific song that just does not seem to fit your current skill level? I turn your song requests into simplified arrangements that make progress feel immediate and rewarding. My BA from McGill informs how I break down complex theory into manageable practice sessions. You will receive clear feedback on your acoustic technique and improvisation skills.
I keep the process very transparent. This is how we grow together. My 401 students have helped me refine a method that works for both intermediate learners and exam candidates. I hope to see you in the studio soon for a session.

Walking into my studio with 6 years of experience, I see music as a language that requires both technical precision and deep feeling. My BA in Music from McGill provided the academic foundation, but my journey has been shaped by the 401 students I have guided through various styles.
Whether we are tackling tricky barre chords, improvising over complex changes, or reading sheet music, I emphasize the connection between the brain and the fretboard. Having taught 401 pupils, I have seen every common struggle when it comes to maintaining a guitar or refining tone.
I treat the instrument as a tool for storytelling, much like the songwriters who inspired my own path. My teaching style is grounded in the reality of being a working musician in a changing industry. I am confident that we can build a technical roadmap that honors your musical identity.
