About Oscar
You need to master barre chords and power chords while keeping your rhythm steady. Dealing with electric technique requires a balance of discipline and humour, which I provide using my 5 years of experience and Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.
Since starting out, I have helped 240 students navigate everything from songwriting to complex chord transitions. We also spend time on essential maintenance like tuning because a guitar that feels good to play is a tool you will actually pick up. It is a gradual process of refinement.

Imagine sitting down with your instrument and feeling the fretboard become an extension of your own hand. I track your growth through a monthly recorded review of progress, which allows us to see exactly how far you have come since day 1. We start by focusing on grade exam prep to build your confidence before moving into more advanced stylistic choices. You will learn to navigate the neck with speed and precision, assuming you put in the time to practise these specific drills.
By keeping the pacing steady, we ensure that you do not feel overwhelmed by the demands of the fretboard. This structured approach helps you build real skills rather than just memorising shapes. It is rewarding to see everything click during a challenge transition. I look forward to supporting your musical journey as your dedicated adviser.
