About John-Robin
I have 15 years of private guitar teaching experience with adults and children from the age of 5. I've worked for several music schools including Trafford Music Service. I am a professional musician and have studied classical guitar between 2010 and 2015 at the University of Music Hanover, Germany. Besides teaching, I maintain a regular performance schedule as a soloist and in different musical contexts. I've recently been DBS checked.

My lessons support your interests and goals in guitar whether it be a particular genre or an overall comprehension of playing the instrument. Whatever your age and whatever your musical experience, I'll show you how to learn the guitar in a way that will give you a thorough understanding of how you can always improve your playing. Freedom, individuality and creativity are core elements of my teaching style which always unites different approaches including learning musical notes, tabs and improvising together. I like to teach either 30min or 45min per week as this gives enough time to improve on music you already know and learning new things to play. The music we play in the lessons can be decided by you and I will propose guitar arrangements for what you have in mind. Otherwise I'll always offer you a variety of music that suit your own capacities.
