About Avery
I am a guitar tutor with 10 years of experience and a degree in Modern Guitar Performance and Music Creativity. My love for guitar began with its ability to communicate emotion through both powerful rhythms and gentle melodies. Teaching guitar allows me to guide students in developing technical skill while discovering their own unique musical voice.
My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and creativity-driven. I help learners strengthen chord transitions, rhythm stability, finger technique, expressive soloing, and stage confidence. Many students begin feeling unsure about coordination, and I take pride in helping them grow through patience and step-by-step encouragement. I believe guitar learning should feel exciting, inspiring, and empowering.
Outside of teaching, I remain active through composing, performing, and exploring diverse musical genres. Watching students transform into confident guitarists is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to help you play with freedom, joy, and pride, creating a guitar journey that truly inspires you.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students grow into confident and expressive musicians while enjoying every step of learning. Guitar is an instrument that combines rhythm, melody, and personal creativity in a powerful way. Many learners feel excited at first but struggle with finger strength, chord transitions, or timing consistency. I create a warm and supportive environment where students feel encouraged, motivated, and free to improve without pressure. Each lesson is structured to build both skill and musical confidence.
In our sessions, we focus on chord fluency, strumming accuracy, fingerstyle technique, solo phrasing, tone shaping, and musical understanding. Beginners learn foundational chords, simple rhythm exercises, and easy songs that build comfort quickly. Intermediate students expand into barre chords, melodic picking, smoother transitions, and exploring styles like pop, rock, blues, and acoustic music. Advanced learners refine improvisation, songwriting, performance readiness, expressive dynamics, and deeper theory application. I provide clear feedback so progress feels steady and rewarding.
Guitar learning builds creativity, patience, and emotional expression. My goal is to help students feel proud of their sound and confident in their musical identity.
