About Lydia
I am a guitar tutor with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Guitar. Music has always inspired me to explore different styles, techniques, and creative possibilities, and teaching allows me to share that passion with others.
My lessons combine structure with flexibility. I enjoy helping students understand both the technical and artistic sides of guitar playing while adapting lessons to match their individual goals and interests.
Outside teaching, I enjoy arranging songs, performing with fellow musicians, and learning new playing styles. These experiences help me create engaging lessons that inspire students to continue growing as musicians.

My guitar lessons help students build strong technical skills while enjoying the creative side of music. We begin with posture, finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm exercises, and picking techniques. Every lesson uses practical demonstrations and easy explanations that allow learners to understand each concept naturally. Students are encouraged to practice confidently and enjoy every achievement along the way.
As learners improve, we study scales, barre chords, fingerstyle playing, improvisation, solo techniques, ear training, and music theory. I also introduce songwriting ideas, accompaniment skills, rhythm variations, and expressive playing that help students become well-rounded musicians. Personalized practice plans keep progress steady and enjoyable.
My aim is to help students become confident guitar players who can perform, create, and enjoy music independently. Every lesson strengthens technical ability while encouraging creativity, musical understanding, and personal expression.
