About Lara
I am a guitar tutor with 6 years of experience and a Master of Music in Guitar Studies. My interest in guitar developed through exploring different musical styles and discovering how music connects people across cultures.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, practical learning, and individual support. Every student receives lessons that match their learning style while encouraging creativity and consistent improvement. I enjoy helping learners achieve goals that once seemed difficult.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy arranging songs, exploring acoustic music, and collaborating with fellow musicians. These experiences keep my lessons fresh and inspire students to continue developing their musical abilities.

I believe learning guitar should be both exciting and practical. My lessons introduce students to correct posture, chord shapes, rhythm patterns, finger coordination, and picking techniques through enjoyable exercises and familiar songs. Every lesson encourages curiosity, steady improvement, and confidence by explaining each concept in clear, simple English. Students are supported throughout their musical journey with regular encouragement and practical demonstrations.
As learners develop stronger skills, we study scales, fingerstyle techniques, barre chords, improvisation, music theory, ear training, and expressive playing. I also include accompaniment styles, creative exercises, and structured practice routines that help students become versatile musicians. Lessons are always adjusted to suit personal goals and musical interests.
My goal is to help students play confidently while enjoying every stage of learning. Lessons build technical ability, creativity, musical understanding, and performance confidence that continue growing long after each class.
