About Amy
My passion for guitar began through fascination with melody, rhythm, and live musical performance. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance and Modern Music Studies, where I explored instrumental techniques, music theory, and performance methods in depth. During the past 6 years, I have guided students through lessons focused on creativity, confidence, and musical development.
I believe every learner improves differently, so I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s pace and musical style. My approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and practical guidance to help students improve naturally without unnecessary pressure. Some learners improve through structured exercises, while others gain confidence through creative performance activities. I carefully shape lessons to create a motivating and supportive musical experience.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring guitar compositions, live performances, and music education resources to keep my lessons engaging and inspiring. Staying connected to music allows me to bring creativity and practical understanding into every class. My goal is to help students become confident guitar players who enjoy expressing themselves through music. Supporting their musical growth remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students build strong musical foundations while improving confidence through practical and enjoyable learning. I teach chords, strumming techniques, rhythm patterns, scales, finger exercises, melody playing, and musical timing using clear and supportive instruction. Lessons are designed to help students understand music naturally instead of memorizing movements without meaning. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving steadily.
Each lesson is personalized according to the learner’s experience level, musical interests, and pace of learning. Beginners receive patient support with finger placement, tuning, and rhythm basics, while advanced learners strengthen improvisation, technical accuracy, and musical expression. I include practice routines, song learning, listening exercises, and performance preparation to support balanced musical growth. Students preparing for performances receive focused guidance for confidence and stage readiness.
I believe guitar becomes more enjoyable when students understand rhythm and practice with confidence and creativity. My lessons help reduce hesitation and replace it with musical freedom through supportive teaching and regular encouragement. Many learners gradually become more expressive and technically comfortable over time. My goal is to help students build strong guitar skills while enjoying the process of making music.
