About Charla
Ear training and reading sheet music are the foundations I provide for my pupils. I focus on songwriting, power chords, and lead guitar techniques.

A typical hour begins with a focused review of your previous practice module to maintain your momentum. You settle into your seat with your instrument while we check your tuning against the reference track. We spend the bulk of our time working through complex strumming patterns or refining your lead guitar technique to ensure everything sounds clean. I draw upon my 6 years of teaching experience to break down difficult sections into manageable pieces for every student.
This progress ensures you never feel stuck on a single concept for too long. My lessons rely on a steady flow of information that builds your confidence across the fretboard. We alternate between theory and performance to keep your mind engaged throughout the session.
Every minute is spent reinforcing the specific skills you need to become a more capable player. I am confident that you will walk away from every single meeting with a clearer understanding of your instrument.
