About Ayla
I have 11 years of experience teaching guitar, supported by a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance and Modern Pedagogy. My love for guitar began with its ability to tell stories through melody, rhythm, and tone. Over the years, I have guided students from their first chords to confident performances, helping them develop both technical ability and personal musical identity. Teaching guitar is meaningful because it allows learners to express themselves in a powerful and creative way.
My teaching style is encouraging, structured, and engaging. I focus on helping students build strong technique while also enjoying the music they play. Learners receive clear feedback, practical exercises, and reassurance that progress takes time. I believe guitar learning works best when students feel supported, inspired, and challenged in the right balance. Lessons are always adapted to the student’s pace and goals.
Outside teaching, I stay connected through performance study, songwriting exploration, and continual learning of new musical styles. I love watching students grow into confident guitarists who can express themselves freely. Guitar is a lifelong journey of creativity and confidence. My goal is to guide learners with patience, warmth, and inspiration.

Guitar is an instrument full of energy, storytelling, and personal expression, and my lessons are designed to help students feel inspired from the very first session. I focus on building strong foundations in chord fluency, rhythm control, finger technique, and musical understanding so learners can play with confidence. Students are encouraged to explore songs they love while also developing the skills needed for long-term growth. I create a warm environment where learners feel supported, motivated, and excited to practice. Guitar becomes much more enjoyable when progress feels meaningful and creative.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on basic chords, smooth transitions, simple strumming patterns, and building comfort with the instrument. Intermediate learners strengthen fingerstyle technique, solo phrasing, vibrato control, and tone shaping. Advanced students refine stage confidence, improvisation skills, expressive dynamics, and performance preparation. I also include songwriting-based exercises and structured challenges to help students grow both technically and creatively.
Over time, students gain not only guitar skill but also stronger musical confidence. Guitar lessons build patience, creativity, and self-expression through sound. My goal is to help learners feel proud of their progress and excited about their musical journey. Guitar should feel empowering, rewarding, and deeply personal.
