About Mason
I began playing guitar as a teenager, captivated by its versatility and expressive power. Over the years, I have performed, composed, and taught students of all levels, helping them build skill while discovering their own voice. Teaching allows me to combine my love of music with my passion for guiding others toward self-expression. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and creative, with lessons customized to each student’s abilities and goals. I balance technical drills with improvisation and creative projects, helping learners develop confidence, artistry, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Outside of teaching, I perform regularly, compose original pieces, and explore diverse genres. Teaching guitar is one of my greatest joys, allowing me to inspire creativity, skill, and self-expression in every student.

The guitar is a deeply expressive instrument, and my lessons are designed to help students develop both technical ability and personal artistry. Each session balances structured exercises with creative exploration, enabling learners to connect emotionally with music while progressing steadily in skill. I focus on fostering confidence, enjoyment, and inspiration in every practice, ensuring each student feels capable and motivated to reach their goals.
Beginners start with chords, strumming patterns, and rhythm exercises that build a solid foundation, often learning songs they love to keep motivation high. Intermediate students develop fingerstyle techniques, scales, and improvisation skills, exploring multiple genres to expand versatility. Advanced learners focus on interpretation, tone control, and performance techniques, refining musicality and expression to prepare for recitals or personal projects.
By the end of lessons, students gain more than technical mastery. They develop creativity, independence, and the ability to communicate emotion through music. My goal is for every guitarist to feel confident performing, inspired to explore new ideas, and capable of expressing their unique musical voice.
