About Ivy
My interest in guitar began with a passion for music and rhythm. This led me to complete a Bachelor’s in Music, where I developed strong practical and technical skills. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students learn guitar in a structured and enjoyable way that builds confidence and consistency.
I believe music should be taught with patience and regular practice. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down techniques into simple steps and guiding students carefully through each stage. I encourage learners to practice regularly and stay motivated.
Outside teaching, I enjoy playing music and exploring different styles. This helps me keep lessons engaging and interesting. Teaching guitar is very meaningful to me because I see students grow from beginners to confident players. Helping them develop strong musical skills and confidence is one of the most fulfilling parts of my teaching journey.

Learning guitar becomes easier when students understand the basics clearly and practice regularly with proper guidance. In my lessons, I focus on chords, strumming patterns, finger techniques, rhythm, and simple song playing using clear and easy explanations. I break each technique into smaller steps so students can follow comfortably without difficulty. I also include familiar songs and structured exercises to make lessons engaging and enjoyable. Each session is interactive and supportive, helping students build confidence while improving their skills step by step in a relaxed environment.
As students progress, lessons are adapted based on their level and goals. Beginners focus on basic chords and simple strumming. Intermediate learners work on chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, and playing songs smoothly. Advanced students focus on techniques, improvisation, and musical expression. I provide regular practice routines, guided exercises, and feedback to ensure steady improvement and strong skill development.
Guitar helps students develop coordination, rhythm, and creativity. As they improve, they become more confident in playing and expressing music. These skills are useful for personal enjoyment and performance. My goal is to make guitar learning simple, enjoyable, and rewarding so students feel confident playing music with clarity, expression, and steady progress over time.
