About Gowri
I am a music producer/singer/songwriter and a former journalist from Pune, India. I have been playing the guitar for over 15 years. I studied guitar and bass performance at Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, and have been a touring/sessions musician since.

Doing is everything. After many methods, I have found that persistence and repetition is the key to moving forward and acquiring proficiency in any skill, combined with a moderate bit of good ol' theory. The classes are usually an hour long - 15 minutes warm up, 15 mins chord exploration, 15 minutes scale exercises, and the remaining is a study of song. I usually insist on have 12 classes per month, for often, students only come to class and practise.
