About Gwendolyn
I’m a French student currently studying in UCL, and I’m passionate about languages, culture, and meeting people from different backgrounds.
I speak seven languages including French and English fluently and I have experience teaching languages to both children and adults through volunteer and community-based programmes. These experiences have taught me how different every learner can be, and how important it is to find the right approach for each person.
I love taking on new challenges and adapting my teaching style to make learning a language both effective and enjoyable. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, build your vocabulary, gain confidence, or simply discover more about French culture, I’ll make sure our lessons are interactive and tailored to your goals.
My aim is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can learn, make mistakes, ask questions, and most importantly, enjoy the process! I’d love to help you make real progress.

I offer French lessons focused on speaking and vocabulary, with French culture inputs (history, music, arts) tailored to your personal interests to help you understand the language’s nuances and build confidence!
I adapt my teaching to each student’s goals and level. If the lesson aims to deepen an academic programme, involving exams or assignments, I’m also happy to adapt and supplement the sessions with explanations in English if necessary to help students improve.
