About Aliya
I’m 21 years old and half Japanese, half New Zealander. I grew up mostly in Japan, and this year I moved to New Zealand on my own for university. I’m currently studying Global Studies. My hobby is traveling, and I love exploring the world! I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people, and through this online class, I hope to meet many different people and, through language learning, share the joy of stepping into a new world.

Also, since I’ve lived in Japan my whole life prior to this year, I’d love to talk a lot about interesting cultural differences, and I’d be happy if it could also help you improve your understanding of cultural differences.
