About Lollie
I'm a recent Harvard graduate with a degree in Philosophy. I've spent time working in script development and production, which sharpened my eye for storytelling and editing, both useful when it comes to essay writing and personal statements.
I got into tutoring because I love the feeling when a concept finally clicks or a piece of writing comes together. I'm patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping each student find their own voice, whether they're prepping for exams or figuring out how to write about themselves for university applications.

I typically tutor for an hour at a time, though I'm flexible depending on how you learn best. My background is in Philosophy, so I bring a structured, discussion-based approach by breaking down arguments, building clear essay outlines, and giving detailed feedback on drafts. I have experience teaching neurodivergent students and always aim to keep lessons engaging.
I mostly focus on A-Level Philosophy, but I also offer help with personal statements and admissions essays for university applicants.
