About Helen
I started tutoring 20 years ago, and have taught students of various ages and stages of their education. I spent a year at a German university, as part of my Degree, and also worked for a German company for a short time, and so attained a fluency in the language. I enjoy assisting students with both German and English grammar, at any stage up to GCSE.

I partly use text books to assist me in conveying the teaching material to the student, and for them in turn to have chance to practise what they are learning and revising. I like to involve some practical conversation, with regard to both subjects, and I also like to use current and relevant topics eg news or music, to make the sessions interesting for the student.
